Care, kept simple.
A diamond is harder than almost everything. The setting is not. We stand behind both — the stone with paper, the metal with a bench.
Provenance.
Every diamond is grown in a controlled laboratory and graded by the International Gemological Institute. The IGI report ships in the box. The serial number on the report is engraved on the girdle of the stone, in microscopic type. You can read it under a loupe.
A sample IGI report is available on request. Ask, and we send one before you commit.
Lifetime guarantee.
We warrant the metalwork — prongs, band, setting — against manufacturing defects for as long as you wear the piece. If a prong loosens, we re-tip it. If a band thins, we rebuild it. The work is done at our bench, free of charge.
What is not covered: wear from daily use (a soft polish renews this), loss, impact damage, or modification by another jeweler. Diamond authenticity is guaranteed by the IGI report, not by us.
Shipping & returns.
Insured courier, signature required, fully tracked. Cyprus and the EU: included. Outside the EU: tracked, insured to declared value; customs and duties are paid by the buyer.
Made-to-order pieces are exempt from the EU 14-day right of withdrawal under Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU. We repair or replace transit damage free within twelve months. If a piece arrives not as described, write to us — we will make it right.
Cleaning, at home.
- Warm water, a drop of mild soap, a soft brush.
- Dry on a clean lint-free cloth.
- No ultrasonic baths. No ammonia. No chlorine.
- Take the piece off before swimming, exercising, or sleeping.
Once a year, send it back to us for a full bench service. Polishing, prong-tightening, rhodium where it applies. We do not charge.
What "recycled gold" means.
18kt gold from a certified post-consumer and post-industrial supplier. Refined to the same standard as virgin gold. Indistinguishable in performance; different in origin.
Lab-grown diamonds: same crystal lattice as mined, grown in a chamber rather than under a continent. The lab keeps a temperature log; we keep the IGI report. We do not claim "carbon neutral" — that is a number we have not yet measured. We are working on it.
Substantiation.
Every claim on this site is auditable. The IGI report covers stone authenticity, weight, colour, clarity, and cut. The recycled-gold supplier certificate is available on request. The bench guarantee is honoured by us, in writing, in the order confirmation. Ask, and we will send the paper.
